Student Clubs and Opportunities
Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society and Biology Club
Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is a national biological honors society for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending the boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. Since its founding in 1922, more than 200,000 people have been accepted into lifetime membership, and more than 520 chapters have been established throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
The Epsilon Gamma Chapter at APU consists of members who are involved in on-campus research projects or other activities, as well as other scientific endeavors, including writing grants for research supplies and presenting their research at local and national Beta Beta Beta conferences.
Boundless Brilliance
Boundless Brilliance brings free, empowering STEM workshops to local elementary schools with the aim to “educate, empower, and engage students in order to close the gender gap in STEM.” Each semester, students have the opportunity to earn up to 15 credits for service to the organization. This includes building and maintaining relationships with local elementary schools, advertising, recruiting new members, and presenting different science activities at local elementary schools. During the spring semester, there is an opportunity to earn an additional 10 service credits for participating in the annual Brilliant STEAM Day event, which involves an immersive STEM experience at APU for elementary-aged children from the community.

The APU Pre-Dental Club
The Pre-Dental Club is a supportive community for students of all majors pursuing or considering careers in dentistry, dental hygiene, and dental assisting. The club provides opportunities to connect with like-minded peers, gain insights into the field, and network with APU alumni, dental professionals, and organizations dedicated to advancing dental education and practice. Students learn the career fundamentals, but most importantly acquire knowledge of how to bring their faith into their profession.
