OIRA’s goals in administering surveys are to:

ensure that proper documentation is maintained for surveys used for research purposes.
coordinate, through maintenance of a survey calendar, the administration of surveys to minimize overlap and duplication.
provide support for survey development, administration, and analysis.
ensure that the information being sought is not already available in another form.
