OIR’s goals in administering surveys are to:

• ensure that proper documentation is maintained for surveys used for research purposes.
• coordinate, through maintenance of a survey calendar, the administration of surveys to minimize overlap and duplication.
• provide support for survey development, administration, and analysis.
• ensure that the information being sought is not already available in another form.
