Meet the Staff

Martha came to APU after 27 years in research support and oversight at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California, where her responsibilities included assisting biostatistics research, protecting human subjects in research, monitoring protocols for data safety, coordinating marrow and blood transplants, and overseeing regulatory services at multiple levels. As Office Coordinator, Yvonne manages Faculty Research Council and student travel grants while facilitating essential Cayuse system operations. Working closely with the ORG Director, she also provides key support for external grants and overall departmental workflows

Sharon Wang manages the thesis and dissertation publication process while guiding students to successful completion of their APU graduate degrees. Wang has a PhD in sociology from the University of Notre Dame and nearly 15 years of teaching experience in American higher education. Her experience includes advising graduate students on thesis proposals, designing survey questions, collecting and analyzing data, and writing statistical findings. She also was a final thesis evaluator and Institutional Review Board (IRB) chair and taught research methods, statistics, and ethnography. View Wang’s CV.

Robin Quayle joined APU in March of 2018. She began as an Academic Success Center Testing Center Coordinator and transitioned to ORG in March 2026. Robin strives to provide individual service to each person that she comes into contact with and wants to help students reach his or her highest potential. Robin has worked with various school districts and educational organizations in the areas of administration, teaching, and information technology. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the University of California, Riverside. When not working, Robin enjoys serving others, spending time with her family and friends, and a fun cup of coffee.
