Summer Bridge Program
Preparing First-Gen Students Like You for a Strong College Start
The Summer Bridge Program at Azusa Pacific University is a FREE 5-week program that prepares a select group of first-generation college students majoring in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, allied health, math, computer science, engineering, physics, or kinesiology.

Important Dates
- Move-In: Sunday, June 7, 2026
- Summer Bridge Courses: June 8-July 9, 2026 (no classes Friday, July 3)
- Closing Ceremony/Move-Out: Thursday, July 9, 2026
Your Summer Bridge Experience
- Enroll in MATH 95 Intermediate Algebra and ETHN 150 Intro to Ethnic Studies
- Live on campus during the program
- Includes textbooks and food (based on the dining hall schedule)
- Receive a $500 stipend upon completion of the program
Requirements
All program participants must:
- Major in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, allied health, math, computer science, engineering, physics, or kinesiology
- Be first-generation students
- Have been accepted to Azusa Pacific University
- Have paid their enrollment deposit
- Submit a Summer Bridge application
