Biography
Tonneka Caddell received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in family systems and a concentration in forensic psychology from Azusa Pacific University. She is a full-time staff psychologist at Patton State Hospital and Adjunct Faculty at APU within the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology Program. Caddell’s research interests include forensic assessment, risk management and treatment interventions specific to sexual offenders, serious mental illness, and cultural mistrust. In 2021, she served as the Interim Director of Clinical Training for internship at APU in the PsyD program. She is dedicated to helping students develop their own style as a clinician and encourages growth in each of her student’s knowledge, skills, and cultural competence. The goal is to help prepare students for their future career as a psychologist.
