Biography

Danielle Lascano, EdD, has a background in psychology and religion. She started her career in community mental health and then worked with students and teachers in the school system. In 2012, she began working with children and adolescents experiencing grief and trauma. In 2017, she began working with the Building Forever Families Initiative, creating an evidence-based curriculum and training coaches to improve the visitation process in the foster care system. She has 15 years of teaching experience in primary, secondary, and higher education, and has taught in the undergraduate and graduate programs in APU’s Department of Psychology since 2015.
