Adjunct Professor

Recipient of the prestigious Gwendolyn Koldofsky Scholarship and the full Teaching Assistantship at the University of Southern California, pianist and educator Jung Hee An has established a versatile career spanning instrumental and chamber music, opera, vocal arts, choir, and musical theatre.

Jung Hee graduated from Seoul Arts High School and Yonsei University in South Korea, where she was awarded a full scholarship. She later moved to the United States and earned a Graduate Certificate in Piano Performance from USC as the recipient of the Music Merit Scholarship. She subsequently earned her Master of Music degree in Keyboard Collaborative Arts at USC, supported by the full Teaching Assistantship and the Gwendolyn Koldofsky Scholarship for excellence in the field. While at USC, she studied under pianists Daniel Pollack and Kevin Fitz-Gerald.

Currently, Jung Hee serves as an adjunct faculty member at Azusa Pacific University and California Arts University. She is also a staff pianist for Pasadena City College and El Camino College.

As an active collaborative pianist, she performs with the Los Angeles Korean-American Musicians’ Association (LAKMA), Los Angeles Chamber Choir, the Suara Southeast Asian Choir, the Young Angels Choir, and The One Orchestra. She also serves as the chair of the Instrumental Division for the Southern California Korean Musicians Association and the pianist for the Korean Church of North LA, contributing to community outreach and cultural enrichment.
