Serve Nationally and Internationally

Serve Throughout the World

“Look at the nations and watch and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something amazing in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” – Habakkuk 1:5

National and international Action Teams educate and empower participants to serve in various capacities through short-term missions in more than 20 countries annually. Participants continue to live a life of worldwide service by teaching overseas, working in medical capacities, and creating sustainable development in the private and public sectors through organizations.

Each year, the Center for Student Action sends more than 250 students, faculty, staff, and alumni around the world to partner with long-term and national workers to meet the whole person needs of communities. Action Team members go as learners and servers of long-term workers, respecting the cross-cultural understanding and sensitivity involved as short-term participants. Programs include but are not limited to: educational development, orphan work, conversational English teaching, prayer ministry, mobile medical care clinics, anti-human and sex trafficking, and much more.

Our extensive recruitment, development and training process equips each participant to consider his or her cross-cultural experience as an integral part of his or her mission lifestyle perspective. We highlight incarnational living and spiritual preparedness in the pre-field, on-field, and post-field re-entering and debriefing processes. The transformational experience continues to give perspective to the participant as they live out their lives in praying, going, sending, and welcoming others as a part of the incarnational lifestyle.
