City Links

City Links is a one-day service experience within the local community for all first-year students at Azusa Pacific University. This experience builds community within each Alpha Group and introduces students to the local community that will become home during their APU experience.

Vision Statement

City Links aims to build relationships among first-year students and those who live, learn, work, and grow up in the city of Azusa and surrounding communities. This celebration of ongoing service joins Azusa Pacific University, the city of Azusa, and surrounding communities in service alongside one another. Working with faith communities, schools, parks, and nonprofit organizations, students and community members take action to promote a common care for our neighborhoods.

Event Description

Working with churches and local organizations, students have the chance to participate in one-time service opportunities that introduce them to the city of Azusa and surrounding communities. In conjunction with the Office of Orientation and Transitions, as well as the First Year Seminar, we connect the APU student body to the local community.
