Can my parents/guardians attend?

Please do! They can attend the informative sessions we have assembled to answer many “parent-type” questions.

What if I cannot attend a Summer Orientation event?

These events are important for your class registration and transition to APU, and we are hopeful you can attend one of them. If your location prohibits this from happening, contact your admissions counselor or the Office of Undergraduate and International Admissions at (626) 812-3016. We will be holding online orientation events during the month of July.

Do I have to pay any money to enroll in my classes?

To secure your classes, you need to pay the $300 enrollment deposit. Please don’t forget to mail that to APU as soon as possible, or pay online at The deposit deadline is June 1, 2020.

Note: Nursing students are eligible to receive an enrollment deposit refund only until May 1.

How long will the event last?

  • Live Virtual Event: 1 hour and 15 minutes

Is there anything I need to do ahead of time?

In addition to registering through your registration profile, you will need to complete any required assessments before attending Summer Orientation. You will receive an email notifying you of any assessments to complete based on your registration profile.
