Biography

Jess Paik is a creative researcher and designer. Paik specialized in visual art and design at a conservatory school during her secondary education and continued her studies in art and design at the Rhode Island School of Design. Since 2009, Paik has freelanced as a designer and worked as a creative educator mainly within museums and after-school programs. Combining her passions in art, design, and education, she pursued research in arts in education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). She continues her research on visual literacy and education, specifically constructing interpretative meaning and communication from visual forms as an essential part of our contemporary lives.
