Video Introduction
Kevin Huang, PhD, is an organic chemistry faculty member at Azusa Pacific University, passionate about both teaching and research. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine, and his PhD from the University of California, Davis. Following his doctoral studies, he completed postdoctoral research in bio-organic chemistry at Yale University as an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow.
At APU, Huang teaches a variety of organic chemistry courses, where he implements team-based learning (TBL) to foster a collaborative and engaging environment. He also teaches in the Honors College. In addition to his teaching, Huang leads an active undergraduate research program focused on synthesizing novel heterocycles using modern organic techniques and evaluating their biological activity through biological assays.
