Antoinette Babers, MS, LMFT

Antoinette Babers, MS, LMFT, has 12 years of experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children, adults with severe mental illness, and dual-diagnosis clients involved in the prison/probation system. Babers endeavors to assist her clients in fostering growth through an eclectic therapeutic orientation. She has taught various workshops and seminars and authored curriculum for them, including “Friendship and Social Skills,” “Bullying: Prevention and Intervention,” and “Divorce Recovery for Adults, Teens, and Children.” As the director of clinical training for the Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology: Marriage and Family Therapy program at the Inland Empire Regional Campus, Antoinette embraces, encourages, and guides each student during their academic and clinical experience while maintaining a positive relationship with site directors. Her goal is to ensure that each student has a positive practicum experience and a productive learning environment that helps students in developing their therapeutic skills and confidence in their abilities. Babers also attends quarterly San Bernardino County meetings with educators and training site directors, which allows her to stay abreast of changes in the field.
