Bryant Mathews, PhD, Professor of Mathematics, serves as associate dean for the School of Humanities and Sciences and director of General Education. Previously, he served as chair of the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. He has led the development of the APU Core: Pathways to Flourishing general education program. He studied algebraic geometry at UCLA and has published in the Journal of Algebra.
