Kathleen McGinnis PT, DPT, OCS, completed her undergraduate studies in Physiological Science at UCLA in 2014 and went on to complete a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Azusa Pacific University in 2017. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Rehabilitation and Movement Science, with a focus on the biomechanics of dance. McGinnis is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and has completed additional training in pelvic floor physical therapy through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. In addition to teaching, McGinnis practices as a physical therapist at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare. Her areas of expertise include orthopedics, biomechanics, pelvic floor rehabilitation and dance medicine.
