Kristof Van Grysperre, DMA, a native of Belgium, has an international career as a pianist, chamber musician, vocal coach, and conductor. He has conducted highly acclaimed productions at the Long Beach Opera, New York City Opera, and Chicago Opera Theater. Over the past decade Van Grysperre built a repertoire of over sixty operas conducting performances for Opera Pacific, Baltimore Opera Studio, Intimate Opera Company, USC Opera, Cal State Los Angeles and Azusa Pacific University. A highly sought-after coach for singers and conductors, he has been engaged by various organizations, including Tanglewood Music Center Vocal Program, Aspen Opera Center, Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra, SongFest, California Conducting Workshop and University of Southern California, where he also served as acting music director of the USC Thornton Opera. He established flourishing coaching studios in Pasadena and Long Beach.
