Assistant Professor

Hi, I’m Lauren Lo, a family nurse practitioner and proud APU alum! I graduated with my BSN from Loma Linda University in 2009 and spent the early part of my career at St. Bernardine Medical Center, working in ICU and outpatient surgery. I later earned my MSN and FNP from Azusa Pacific University—so it’s truly come full circle to now be teaching here, where I once sat as a student.

Since 2015, I’ve been practicing in family medicine, and I currently work as an FNP with Kaiser Permanente. I joined APU as an adjunct professor in 2018, and I absolutely love being part of the journey for nursing students—supporting them as they grow in confidence and calling.

Outside of work, I’m a sports-loving, beach-going mom of three. Life is full and fun, and I’m incredibly grateful to be doing what I love—both in the clinic and the classroom.
