When you’re ready to apply, select the appropriate checklist below to view the steps for completing your APU application. Move closer to your goals with a degree from Azusa Pacific University. Additionally, the university is recognized in several subject-specific categories for veteran students, including education, subject specific education, health professions, nursing, psychology, and theology.
  • Submit your Undergraduate APU application.
    There is no cost to apply. APU waives the application fee for military-connected students.
  • Send official transcripts from previous college or university experience to:

    Your application is not complete until all transcripts have been received.
  • Order official military transcripts using the appropriate link:
  • Send your official military transcripts to the above address.
  • Apply for financial aid by completing your FAFSA.
  • Apply for VA benefits and complete your Certificate of Eligibility (COE). If you are a veteran, email your DD214 and COE to the Office of Military and Veteran Education Benefits at [email protected].
  • Take academic placement tests
  • Complete APU’s MVEB Application Packet.
  • Submit your Graduate/Professional APU application.
    There is no cost to apply. APU waives the application fee for military-connected students.
  • Send official transcripts from previous college or university experience to:

  • Complete APU’s MVEB Application Packet.

After two deployments with the U.S. Marine Corps where he witnessed violent and traumatic events, Ulyses Lopez ’19, MDiv ’23, returned home, knowing he would need to find a place of healing while transitioning back to civilian life. Ulysses found that place at APU. Through his work with the Office of Military and Veteran Services, the impact of a loving community, and the guidance of mentors, he found his voice and experienced restoration.
