Alex is the director of campus life in the Office of Campus Life. Alex graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in Management Science to pursue a career in business, but God had something else for him. Alex spent a majority of his professional career in residence life as an assistant residence director, residence director, and associate director of residence life before beginning his current role in 2016. • Alpha Joy Lawson, M.S.

    Transitions Coordinator

Alpha Joy was born and raised in Southern California with a large, funny Filipino-American family. She is a proud first-generation alumna of APU, where she earned her B.A. in Business Management and an M.S. in College Counseling and Student Development. Alpha Joy’s transformative undergraduate journey inspired her to pursue higher education as not only a career field, but as her calling to serve and educate college students. In her free time, she enjoys good boba, shopping, quality time with friends and family, and especially enjoying yummy food with her husband, Mike. Whether you’re a boba lover or new to boba, she would love to enjoy boba with you and ask thoughtful questions to better understand your journey to who God has created you.

  • Judson Lim, M.S.

    Campus Recreation Coordinator

Judson was born in New York, but grew up in 15 countries overseas and now resides in Claremont. He loves everything about student leadership development. He is passionate about the why behind projects and hopes to continue serving on teams that share the same value. You can catch Judson playing ping-pong, basketball, or Settlers of Catan on any given day. Challenge Judson to a game of chess and he won’t turn you down. He loves all things competitive, any acoustic cover music, and Diet Coke.
