Steve Emerson, PhD, has been teaching Church history and theology for more than 10 years. His areas of research interest include patristic soteriology, Cappadocian theology, and Augustine. A favorite quote of his from Church history comes from 19th-century missionary Adoniram Judson: “The future is as bright as the promises of God.”
