Nathaniel Fernandez, PhD, began working at APU’s University Counseling Center in 2018. His areas of interest include cultural identity development; sexual and gender identity development; working with marginalized, first-generation, and undocumented students; training and supervision; preventive programming; program evaluation; and quantitative analysis. In addition to providing therapy, he coordinates University Counseling Center outreach to students, staff, and faculty, including training, workshops, and awareness events.
